Susan lives in a small town in Northern Wisconsin with her husband Raymond, who served in the Vietnam War. They have been married for 35 years.
They have two daughters, two grandchildren, and a collie.
Susan grow up with Barbara Ducommun, with whom she still shares a special friendship. Barb is the illustrator of both Nosy Noodles and their first book, Otto,The Blind Otter.
Susan's passion for writing combined with her love of chldren and animals, makes her creation of books for children a joyful experience.
