Gail works in sterling silver, sheet and wire with bead embellishments. She has been designing jewelry for the last four years. The inspiration to begin this artistic venture came from a trip to Quartzsite, AZ and a visit to the gem and mineral club there where she and her husband participated in some very enjoyable classes and rock hunting.

Gail has a four year degree in studio arts from the U of MN where her main area of study was drawing and watercolor painting. After graduating, she began a 23 year career in graphic design. Over the years she has designed everything from recognition awards, business cards, packaging, ads, brochures, gardens, etc. A degree in K-12 art instruction was received from Augsburg College with subsequent employment at Rosemount High School as a graphic design instructor. She also taught evening classes at WITC-New Richmond in graphic design.

This artist currently lives in Bruce, Wisconsin with her husband, Rex, and two dogs. She enjoys gardening and volunteering when not in her studio. She sells her jewelry by word of mouth but plans on starting a web site soon.
