Rusk Area Arts Alliance
Rusk County Farmer’s Market Vendor Contract
2007 Vendor Rules
The market is located on the corner of Hwy 8 and W. 4th St. N. in downtown Ladysmith. The market officially opens June 16 and closes the last market day in Oct. Early season sales are permitted. Market hours are Saturdays 8:30 am until noon, Wednesdays 2:00 – 6:00 pm
Notes:
For the 2007 season, RAAA has been allocated spot #8, a 10’ space which is three spots south of the pavilion. Only RAAA members will be allowed to “rent” this “Art” spot. You must show up 15 minutes before the opening of the market or your spot may be re-assigned to farm vendor.
Call Nancy Wheeler, 532-6298 to reserve the RAAA spot.
There is no guarantee that there will be an easy-up canopy, table or chair for you. These are allocated at the market on a first come/first serve basis.
The vendor fee is $3 per market, payable to the market manager.
I agree:
1) To sell only original art/craft that I, or a direct member of my family have created. I am not selling items that someone else has made or that is from a pre-made kit.
2) To sell within the market days and hours. No vehicles are allowed on the market grounds until one hour before the market opens. Prearranged sales are to take place during market hours, or at another location.
3) To make sure I have a vendor’s license.
4) To conduct myself in a professional and courteous manner towards my fellow vendors and towards customers.
5) To pay vendor selling fee ($3/day) when the market manager or her designee collects it during the market.
Failure to follow these rules may result in RAAA’s not being allowed to participate in this event.
